If you’re someone who likes planning, prepping for trips can be really fun! If you’re the opposite, it can be an absolute nightmare. Now when you’re planning a trip with that special someone, you’re most likely excited but also really nervous. It can make you feel like ripping your hair out. Whether or not it’s a breeze or a herculean task for you, we’ve put together a packing list to help you figure out what to pack for your weekend trip with bae.

Toiletries

There are certain everyday things you can’t and shouldn’t do without, so of course, they’ll be needed on this trip. Some of them are; deodorant (you don’t want to be smelling musty on the trip), razors( for obvious reasons *wink wink*), toothbrush, hair products, skin care products, whichever period products you use like pads, tampons, menstrual cups etc, perfume and anything else that’s important to you. Don’t forget your sunscreen as well, its super important.

Make-Up Kit

If you care for makeup, then, you certainly don’t want to forget this at home, especially if you have a little date planned for the trip. Seeing as it’s at most 3 days, you don’t need a lot. The essentials would do. Foundation, powder, eyeliner and a bold AF lipstick.

Sex Kit

It’s a weekend getaway with that special someone. As long as you’re not asexual, it’s safe to assume that y’all would be getting freaky at some point. You should enjoy every moment of that while being safe. Don’t forget to pack condoms, lube, birth control pills(if you’re on any), sex toys (if you’re into that😏) and whatever else you need to be safe and spice things up.

Underwear and Lingerie

Pack lots of underwear, enough to get by if you’re don’t have access to a washer. And if you’re looking for something to help you feel sexy and give you a little feminine power while turning your partner on, lingerie is your friend.

Bathing Suits

You say weekend trip, but I hear pool party. Weirdly most of these short trips involve a body of water of some kind. Maybe a pool, the ocean, a jacuzzi, you name it. So, don’t forget your bikini or one-piece, whatever floats your boat.

Clothes and Shoes

You also obviously need clothes and shoes. Pack maybe 1-2 pairs of trousers, a pair of shorts or a skirt, 2-4 shirts and tanks, and a sweater. For shoes, just two pairs of your choice would be more than enough, one to walk around and one thats super dressy. Also, don’t forget to pack up one date outfit.

Documents and Money

You will need your ID and if you’re leaving the country, make sure you do not forget your passport. Cross-check all documents you’ll need and make sure you have a good amount of cash with you (especially if you have to change currencies).

First Aid Kit

It’s good to plan for everything. Your first aid kit should be filled with basic first aid treatment and any and all medications you take.

Entertainment Kit

Card games, board games, gadgets and so on. Pack up fun games that could keep you guys busy when you don’t really have anything to do.

Safety Kit

In today’s world, you can never be too safe. This is one of the most important things you’ll pack for your trip. Fill your kit with a whistle or personal alarm, door stopper, pepper spray, swiss army knife, travel locks, flashlight and anything else you feel you need to keep yourself safe.

Emergency Escape Kit

You can NEVER be too safe and you can NEVER be too suspicious because as already stated it’s a difficult and painful world we live in. You need to always be looking out for yourself. Even though you trust your partner, it will always be better to be safe than sorry. Your emergency escape kit should exist, so if for any reason you can’t trust the place you’re staying at or your partner anymore, you can easily leave. Your kit should be filled with enough cash to book a separate hotel if needed and to transport yourself back home, emergency numbers of people you trust, safety keychain set for women (which you can get on amazon) as well as, anything else you feel you need.
