As the ton already knows by now, Bridgerton is riddled with sex scenes that would make anyone cross their legs(if you know what I mean). So as we anticipated the release of Queen Charlotte, we anticipated the release of toe-curling sex scenes. We are happy to say Queen Charlotte did not disappoint.
From the very first episode, they gave us hot, steamy, sometimes sad, inappropriate or god-awful, often unexpected sex scenes. Some were so bad we had to look away. Others were so good we couldn’t look away.

Dim the bedroom lights. Light some scented candles. Stand at the foot of the bed, at least five feet away from each other. Stare into each other’s eyes. Don’t look away for even a second. Feel the charge in the air. When you’re ready and if it feels comfortable, tell each other what you would like to do to each other, and end the conversation in each other’s arms. Kiss until you’re ready for more. End your night in the missionary position, again staring into each other’s eyes as you both reach completion.
The Even Days
The morning after Charlotte and George have a spectacular night, she overhears a heated conversation between George and his mother. The Dowager Princess pushed George so much that he ended up saying true yet, at least to Charlotte, cruel words. ” You told me I had to wed for the Crown. I did. You told me to charm her to make it easier for the crown. I have done my best. You told me I could not let her know me because I must protect the secrets of the crown. I have not. The conversation jarred Charlotte so much, she pulled away and in some ways paid him back for his cruelty. She became mean and cold and he mirrored her countenance. They would avoid each other all together if they could but they were King and Queen. They had duties and frequently had to be seen in public together. They had the perfect mask. None would be the wiser if they didn’t live in the palace with them. The only time they were together when they were away from the public eye was when they had to have sex and the only reason they had to have sex was so they could produce an heir. So they divided their days between even and odd ones. Every even day they would have hot, steamy, intense and some would say hate-filled sex but I don’t think it was hate. They had a lot of love for each other. I think it was just frustration. Either way, these scenes were one of the steamiest yet funniest in the show.
How You Can Recreate It
Get mad or maybe role-play a little and pretend to be mad at each other for a week(or more, if you so wish it 😄). Throughout that week only have sex on ‘the even’ days. Let it be hot, steamy, intense sex. It doesn’t have to be angry or hate-filled. Just build enough tension that the sex ends up being anything but calm. Alternatively, you could be fake-mad on even days alone.
The Dining Room Scene
Though this technically falls under ‘the even days’ sex scenes, we felt this was too special to not single out. Charlotte and George’s little sat had been going on for a bit and one night while having dinner, they both sort of lose it and start low-key screaming at each other. Unsurprisingly the argument ends with them kissing. What we don’t expect is for that kiss to turn into a full-on make-out session that quickly escalates to something more.
My mouth literally dropped open as George turns her around and leans into her back as he presses her close to the table while all their servers still stand around them. It was hot, steamy and incredibly passionate.
How You Can Recreate It
While standing next to a very sturdy dining table, have your partner walk up to you like they are literally on fire. Have them turn away from you but as they’re about to leave, grab their forearm. Have them grab you for a kiss as they turn back to you. That kiss should end with you bent over the dining table and your partner’s hand should be going up whatever you’re wearing. Here’s a tip, wear a dress or skirt with nothing beneath it, for easy access *wink**wink*. You could finish with the doggy position or flip around and have your partner f***k you while you sit on the table. The Bathtub Scene
This also technically falls under the even days but just like the dining room scene, it deserves recognition. Charlotte walks into George’s bathing chamber with nothing but a night dress on and declared that it is an even day. It was sensual, it was passionate and it was hot!

Lady Danbury And Lord Ledger
After losing her odious husband, we watch as Lady Danbury slowly builds a friendship with Lord Ledger; Violet Bridergton’s father. Eventually, it turns into what everyone expected. Something more. Dearest readers, I fear this scene may only work if you’re involved in a particularly sordid affair. There’s a thrill, excitement and intensity that simply cannot be faked. However, if you’re not involved in said affair and you have no intentions of ever being involved, you can at the very least role-play. Pretend your partner is someone you cannot have. Someone that technically already belongs to another. Take them up to your room and make sweet love to each other. Start in the missionary position with your lover on top but make sure you end in the cowgirl position, with you on top.
